about us

Greetings! We are Roya and Jen, founders of FEMMEZONER. Sisters by choice and besties since birth, we grew up in a cul-de-sac as first-generation Iranian-Americans. We were 90’s kids, straddling the cultural line between MTV and Persian tea.

Fast forward to the Great Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020. With newfound time on our hands, we created Femmezoner: a digital playground and lifestyle website.

Our editorial vision is to center incredible womxn doing incredible things, whether that’s through fashion, art, activism, entrepreneurship, beauty, wellness or something else entirely. We love glitter as much as we love dismantling the patriarchy. Whether you’re bored or burnt out, curious or inquisitive, searching or creating, we hope to entertain and remind you that womxn exist in infinite and wondrous variations.

If we can dream it, we can believe it, and we can achieve it. We hope you’ll stay a while.
