There is nothing quite like the feeling of being romanced by a film that’s bursting with gorgeous visuals. A hypnotic alternate reality bursting with technicolor, incredible costumes, set designs, and an interesting cast can be just as alluring as taking psychedelics (or I’d imagine, don’t quote me on that). Better yet, how about a global pandemic when a lot of us are at the peak of loneliness during Quarantine? At one point in your life you’ve been asked this question at least once: If you could have any super power, what would it be?

Well, if teleporting is your answer, you’re in luck because this is the closest I’ve gotten to it— and it’s important to note that A) I take my movie recommendations incredibly seriously and that’s been my “thing” since I was probably 13 or 14 and B) I’ve seen all of these movies at least 3x through, and so they’re worth watching.
